OTP is a must for adding new users. Some people who do not have their email id while registering then, can enter their mobile number. so in this case we need to verify the mobile number otherwise people can enter any random number and take the reading. if we allow users without otp verification then it might affect the user's privacy. Anyone can see, manipulate the data. which is against our privacy policy.
